FAQs

Private Jet Charter Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to charter a private jet?
Click “Get a quote” and run as many scenarios as you’d like to get general pricing. This is free and there is no obligation to see how much a private jet charter costs on our site. Aircraft that require fuel stops have been removed from results on longer distance trips. Estimates are based on availability and do not include Federal Excise Taxes, international fees, Customs, airport fees, incidentals or take into account last minute, holiday and peak travel dates. Submit the desired itinerary using our quote tool or contact us and we will customize the flight and aircraft specific to your mission.
Where can you fly?
We operate globally utilizing floating fleet and home base aircraft. We often utilize smaller airports closer and more convenient for the passengers. Based on your needs we will advise the best possible airport and aircraft for your mission. Most of our flights originate in the U.S. while others fly in, out or within Europe, Asia, Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Canada and Hawaii.
Do you sell individual seats?

No. You own the entire aircraft along with all its seats for your flight. We do not sell individual seats or offer shared or public charter. The keyword here is private.

How do I pay?

All flights are prepaid and require an active credit card on file with matching photo I.D. We accept Wire Transfer, ACH and all major credit cards. Credit cards are subject to an additional 4% processing fee.  All Wire transfers and our ACH service are available at quoted cash pricing.

Passengers. What information do I need to provide/bring?

Full legal names and date of birth for each passenger are required and submitted to the TSA. There are no security screenings for private jet flights.  Please indicate passengers weights and excessive luggage if needed.  Adult passengers need to carry government issued I.D.

International travelers: Please email us passport photocopies to be submitted to customs in advance and be sure to carry them with you.

How early do I show up to the airport?

The time indicated on your trip sheet is the departure time. We recommend showing up 15 minutes prior to departure. If you are early or late be sure to let us know so we can adjust and make arrangements for a timely departure and help avoid wait time or additional charges.

How do I get to my plane?

We produce detailed trip sheets/itineraries for each flight. Included is the address to the FBO/Terminal location where your aircraft is located. Once at the FBO either ring the gate and state the assigned tail # (also available on your trip sheets) to proceed directly to the aircraft or check in at the FBO/Terminal lobby where you will be greeted by your crew.

Can I bring my pets?

Yes. Please advise if a pet will be on board when requesting a quote to ensure a pet friendly aircraft. We advise that pets remain leashed in active aircraft areas and crated if not properly trained. Additional documentation may be required when traveling internationally.

What is an empty leg?

These are discounted flights for an aircraft flying a route (leg) without passengers. Empty legs are one-way and can require some flexibility. Adjusting the routing or times may incur additional fees since it increases flight time and landing/handling fees at each airport/FBO. You may browse and search our empty legs for free. If you don’t see what you’re looking for or have any questions about the empty legs or a flight you are interested in, please contact us. We also have discounted, flat rate one-ways for many frequently traveled routes.

Can you help with ground transportation?

Yes. Please advise your needs at the time of booking. We have a network of properly insured and airport approved chauffeured and rental car services at the most frequently traveled airports. Valet and chauffeured vehicles are typically allowed to access the aircraft directly. Uber and shared ride services are not allowed direct access, however passengers can be dropped/picked up at the FBO/Terminal lobby entrances. Ground transportation will be included in your flight trip sheets and charged upon completion of the flight or service.

Can my vehicle be brought to the plane?

Yes. Often times personal vehicles and professional car services are allowed direct access to the aircraft. With a private jet charter, airport FBO/Terminals offer valet service planeside and long term parking for no additional charge. Public transportation services such as Uber and Taxi's are not allowed planeside but passengers can be dropped/picked up at the FBO/Terminal lobby entrances to access the aircraft. Major international airports may not allow direct person/chauffeured access to the aircraft.

What kind of catering do you have?

Each aircraft includes standard stock beverages and dry snacks:

  • Ice
  • Bottled water
  • Sodas
  • Beer/Wine
  • Liquor minis
  • Candy
  • Chips
  • Nuts
  • Snack packs

Standard stock varies depending on aircraft size and larger, luxury aircraft may include premium beverages and snacks.

You may order anything you want with our catering services or bring your own items.  Larger, luxury aircraft have galleys with ovens, microwaves, cold storage and flight attendants to prepare and serve anything that has been ordered or brought.

Do you have a membership program?

No. Membership programs are unnecessary, more expensive and do not provide any additional conveniences or value. In most cases memberships are actually more expensive and restricting. Some of our clients prefer to hold funds on account and draw from it as they fly or leave a credit card on file. This helps eliminate paperwork for each individual flight allowing faster response times.

What if I am considering a flight but not a client yet?

Contact us to setup an account. We will provide a form to fill out. Return the form with a credit card and matching I.D. Once we have the information, it will greatly help expedite future flight requests.

Photoshoots

With a booked charter, you are allowed to video and photograph your experience. Studio productions may require media permits at certain airports.  Inquiries for photoshoots without a booked charter will not be considered.
